Hey Pittsburghers, I wanted to let you know about this opportunity to support the work of a local vegan, me! :D I'm really excited about the possibility of devoting the next three months to writing about bees, and I'm raising money to do so. If you are able to support this project (or promote it in any way) I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
As you can see, the project is nearly funded and needs to raise just $384 in the next 44 hours. If the project is not fully funded by the deadline, all of the pledges go away, and the update won't happen! Please consider joining the fabulous backers to help this important project reach 100% by the deadline.
Check out the Kickstarter site for a video explaining the project as well as updates including:

As an editorial comment, you might want to move the sub-page on Swarming directly under "Bees are Slaves", because you're probably losing readers there.

If someone eats a total vegetarian diet strictly for health reasons, they probably aren't vegan. Veganism is a social movement designed to end animal exploitation. Veganism is a lifestyle that extends well beyond diet to choices in clothing, entertainment, and so on. It's inherently motivated by ethics.
I discuss this on the site in Vegan Nomenclature, something that people who follow a plant-based diet appreciate. Please see also Veganism is the Reason for a more detailed look at the issue.
