I just received the following email and wanted to pass the info along:
Warped Tour – Volunteers Needed!!

We need dedicated and reliable vegans or vegetarians to help staff AFA’s outreach booth at Vans Warped Tour shows!

[Please see volunteer requirements and questionnaire below!]

We will be giving out vegan info, recipes, stickers, and videos on factory farming and veganism. We will also have vegetarian, vegan, and animal rights shirts, stickers, and buttons for sale. [All merchandise sales go to fund our outreach.]
We need volunteers to staff our booth – to give out information and sell merchandise.

Volunteers will get into the event for free; however if you wish to see a lot of bands you should buy a ticket. We are usually within earshot of one or several stages and there are usually slow times during which you can see some bands, but we are not making any guarantees, as our booth can get very busy.
Many volunteers have said they had more fun at our booth then they had in previous years watching bands!

Already going to Warped?? You can still volunteer! Just come by our booth and say you want to help out! We’re always happy to have more volunteers and meet new vegans and veggies!

Volunteer Requirements:
Be 16 or older
Be vegan or vegetarian
Have a reliable way to get to the event
Have or be able to borrow a cell phone [to call when you arrive]
Be able to arrive at the venue by 10:00am

Please answer the following questions for us. If you do not answer these questions we will not get back to you.

If you have MySpace please reply to us on there. Our MySpace is: www.myspace.com/actionforanimals
If not, just reply to this email. [ mail @ afa-online . org ]
Note that we get hundreds of junk e-mails a day so MySpace is a more reliable way to send us messages.

- Show/city you can help at:
- Your name:
- Your age:
- Your cell phone number (remember to include area code):
- Are you vegan, or are you vegetarian?
- Have you done veg outreach before (not required to volunteer)? If so explain briefly:
- Can you help all day (this is pretty much essential as we can not transfer passes mid-day)?
- Can we ship you boxes to bring us at the show [restock of literature, etc.]?
- If “yes” to the above then please provide your address. If we ship you boxes you MUST show up or we won’t have flyers for that show:

Sorry, but there is no smoking, alcohol, or drug use allowed at the Action for Animals booth.

THANK YOU!

If I drove, I'd totally do it. I think it'd be fun.
